Keeping a private link and resuming when it stops working

By the Cinta team

A private link provides access to a request or recipient response. Keep it confidential. The sender tracking link is for the buyer; the recipient link is only for the person receiving. Knowing a request’s name, email or reference does not replace this access.

After creation, copy and keep your tracking link somewhere personal. To invite the recipient, use the share link obtained in tracking, never your own link. Private pages open in French.

Publish neither link in a comment, group or screenshot. Do not paste them into a search engine or general help message. Check the site and sender of unexpected invitations before providing details.

Private links initially last seven days. While the request awaits the recipient’s response, the sender can obtain a new recipient link from valid tracking, or their owner account when that access is available. The new link replaces the old one and lasts seven days from creation.

This does not extend the sender’s guest tracking link. After confirmation, refusal or cancellation, new recipient-link generation is unavailable. Link expiry and quote expiry are different limits; neither means automatic data deletion.

  • Not found: check whether the link was cut off. It may be wrong or replaced. Ask whoever sent it for the latest link.
  • Expired: the old link no longer allows action. Recipients can ask senders to renew it only if request status and their access allow it.
  • Lost guest tracking: email alone cannot retrieve the request. If already associated with your account, check your account area. Otherwise, contact the team without expecting automatic recovery.

An associated request remains accessible to its owner account after the guest link expires. This does not reactivate the link or unavailable actions. Some payment resumptions started as a guest still require their original access or a Cinta check.

See account association or contact the team. Give a non-secret reference and the error message, not the full link.
