Using Cinta without an account and associating a request

By the Cinta team

You can prepare a gift request without an account. Your private tracking link is then your access: keep it from creation. An account retrieves requests it owns but does not automatically recover an old request from its email.

Open My account. This area and login open in French. If « Continuer avec Google » (continue with Google) is offered, Cinta uses your Google identity for your account without requesting access to emails or files.

Real Google login has not yet been exercised for this pilot. If unavailable or unsuccessful, choose « Continuer sans compte » (continue without an account) and keep guest tracking. No account is required for the basic gift request.

Association requires both login and the still-valid private sender link:

  1. Log in to your account, if available.
  2. Return to the guest request’s tracking link.
  3. Check the account shown under « Retrouver cette demande dans mon compte » (find this request in my account).
  4. Click « Associer cette demande à mon compte » (associate this request with my account).
  5. View the request in your account area.

The same contact email, identical name or a reference does not grant this right. This action cannot transfer a request owned by another account. Association changes neither quote nor gift stage.

An expired guest link cannot associate an old request. If association was already recorded, the owner account can view it after expiry and use still-permitted actions. This extends neither the link nor an ended quote or invitation.

Resuming a guest-started payment may need the original link or Cinta checking. Read private links before restarting.

Neither account nor guest tracking displays the recipient’s address, phone number or access instructions. On a shared device, log out and check the result. If an error says logout could not be confirmed, do not assume all access was revoked: report the problem without sharing a link or login code.
