What happens after an application
By the Cinta Team
An application introduces your business to Cinta. Cinta is the seller of the gifts and businesses are the suppliers. The form’s acknowledgement, the decision to proceed and a commercial partnership are different stages.
What the receipt confirms
Section titled “What the receipt confirms”“Votre candidature est enregistrée.” (your application has been recorded) confirms the form’s result. The current form, in French, is a demonstration: only fictional contact details should be used. Its acknowledgement triggers no real contact.
The receipt contains no tracking number or link to an application file. It confirms neither acceptance, publication of a shop nor product availability. Receiving the acknowledgement several times after the same submission does not prove a new application or a correction.
Understand Cinta’s review
Section titled “Understand Cinta’s review”The authorised team can review the submitted information in a private space. To explain this review, we distinguish an application received, an application needing additional information, an application accepted for further consideration and a rejected application.
These terms describe Cinta’s handling of applications. They are not a status you can check online. The public form does not give access to the review queue or the team’s notes.
When information is needed
Section titled “When information is needed”An application needing clarification does not automatically send a request for documents or an email. No automated decision email is currently available. Do not assume that a message has been sent because a review may have taken place.
If you communicate with Cinta, provide only the information needed for the question asked. The form does not request sensitive documents. This help does not guarantee a decision time or a follow-up schedule.
Acceptance, qualification and an offer
Section titled “Acceptance, qualification and an offer”Acceptance for further consideration means that Cinta can continue its assessment. Qualifying the business, reviewing an offer and agreeing commercial terms still require separate decisions. Acceptance does not automatically create a supplier record or conclude a contract.
It also does not create a merchant account, public shop, order or right to manage a catalogue. An offer under review remains separate from a gift available to buy. Read Offers and catalogue for these differences.
Ask for an update or understand a rejection
Section titled “Ask for an update or understand a rejection”To ask for clarification, use Contact Cinta, giving the business name and the subject of your question. This contact does not confirm an action on the application or a response within a given time.
Commercial acceptance criteria and any possible appeal procedure after a rejected application must be discussed with Cinta. This help does not define an automatic appeal. If you reported an error after submission, do not treat a new attempt as a correction: read Resume an application.
To check the information requested initially, return to Submit your business.
