Understanding Cinta and the stages of a gift
By the Cinta team
Cinta lets you prepare a gift for someone in Paris, including when you are abroad or do not know their address. In Cinta’s model, Cinta is the seller and local shops supply the gifts. An image or example listing does not, however, prove a partnership or available stock.
From selection to order
Section titled “From selection to order”- Prepare a request. Choose a gift and enter your name, email, optional message and preferred date. You pay nothing at this stage, and no time slot is reserved.
- Delivery information is prepared. You can provide a known Paris address. Otherwise, the recipient uses their private link to provide their details or decline before confirmation.
- Cinta checks the gift and delivery. Availability, contents, address and delivery feasibility need confirmation. Recording a request alone does not guarantee their approval.
- View the quote in your private tracking. It separates the gift price, delivery fees, total in euros and expiry.
- Choose whether to pay the approved quote. Payment confirmation must appear in your tracking. Preparation and delivery steps appear when recorded.
The request is your intention to give. The quote is a priced offer with a time limit. A paid order corresponds to a confirmed payment; returning from a payment page alone does not prove this.
What the demo shows
Section titled “What the demo shows”The current process uses synthetic gifts, inspiration images and, when configured, Stripe in test mode. It creates no real sale. Gift emails are prepared without actual sending, and no SMS is sent. Use only fictitious data to try the process.
Resume in the right place
Section titled “Resume in the right place”Keep your tracking link as soon as you create the request. It shows the next available action without revealing the recipient’s address or phone number. If an action disappears, read the displayed status before trying again: the request may have been confirmed, cancelled or expired.
To start, choose a gift. To resume, check statuses and available actions or how private links work.
